Job Description:
Candidate will lead the development of IESI’s energy services practice (emphasis on industrialenergy efficiency), with responsibility for business development, project management and technicalimplementation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and talented individual withsignificant bonus and growth opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with new and existing clients to propose, sell, and implement projects
Develop partnerships and working relationships with utilities, municipalities, equipment suppliers,and other channel partners
Conduct energy audits at commercial, industrial, and municipal facilities to identify andrecommend energy efficiency improvements
Provide retro-commissioning services of existing buildings / systems
Complete process and building energy modeling, analysis, and simulation to quantify energyimpacts of recommendations
Write technical reports
Maintain quality control of deliverable products, demonstrating technical excellence, objectivity,and clarity while maintaining project schedules
Meet overall project budgets and profitability targets
Develop, manage and provide direction to staff
Skills and Qualifications:
Self-motivated individual with ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Demonstrated ability to source, sell, and complete engineering consulting projects
Master's degree or Ph.D. in mechanical, architectural, electrical, or civil engineering stronglypreferred
P.E., CEM, and CPM professional certifications strongly preferred. ESCO performancecontracting experience is ideal
