the tavern attracted t heir at t ent io n. A s the cru iser passed an
al l ey adjacent to the so u th side o f the tavern. Kil l ean saw a
f igu re and sho u te'd. "There's so meo ne co ming o u t o f the win-
do w."
Ko reski. sto pped the cru iser, and bo th patro l men ju mped
f ro m it. They ran a f t e r the yo u th who had j u mped f ro m a bro -
ken windo w, and was ru nning to ward a wo o ded area behind the
tavern.
