WHEN KNOWING BECOMES A CRIME

(Dwight Isebia)

some are convinced they have to own
the sole right of access to information,
nobody else but them should know,
to protect the people and their nation
They will continuously make efforts
to control those deemed to be able
to unveil or share the knowledge,
proclaimed to be secret or sacred
By declaring that to know is a crime
and that data has to be covertly kept,
they create what they say they fight
slaying those they were asked to protect
