AN ORDINANCE REPEALING, IN ITS ENTIRETY, SECTION 13-58 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE, PERTAINING TO THE SEPARATE OFFENSE OF FAILURE TO APPEAR IN
MUNICIPAL COURT

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FERGUSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Section 13-58 of the Municipal Code is hereby repealed in its entirety and held for
naught.

That section previously stated:

Sec. 13-58 Failure to appear upon arrest or summons.

It shall be unlawful for any defendant who has previously been admitted to bail after
arrest or summons to fail to appear before the municipal court at a stipulated time and
from time to time as required by the court or to depart from the process of the court
without leave.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage by the City Council.
