Since I was never brought up to believe that way.
Such an expression seems, to me, to be a disgrace
His broad mind and narrow hips did change place
Could his childhood belies possibly be mista!en

Hes always believed things in a certain way
&ith all that, hes irmly determined to stay

'dvances in !nowledge will simply pass him by
%o examine any new concepts, he reuses to try
In religion, he especially thin!s in that way
"irmly reuses to consider what others say
I its proven logically his views are wrong
Hell continue to sing that same old song
(ther possibilities he wont entertain
&ith the amiliar, he preers to remain
A mind is a terrible thing to waste
