Stories Worth Sharing

Every once in awhile, I come across a very special, heartwarming story. This week I have two worth sharing.
At a Special Olympics track meet, a young girl had just won
the 50-yard dash and was jumping up and down all excited.
She yelled out to her parents, Look, Mom and Dad, I won!
Her parents instantly burst into tears.
At the award ceremony the young girl proudly stood there as
a medal was placed around her neck.
Then she ran over to her parents, who were crying now even
more than before.
The three of them hugged, as the parents kept crying.
A Special Olympic official who had watched this whole
scene became concerned and went over to the parents and
asked, Excuse me, is there anything wrong?
Through her tears, the mother said, No, nothings wrong.
Everythings right . . . We just heard our daughter speak for
the first time.
This story actually made me tear up. It made me realize how
blessed I am. My mother always told me, theres always
someone worse off than you.
This reminded me of the Patience Prayer.
God grant me patience . . . and I want it right now!
A doctor, who had devoted his life to helping the underprivileged, lived over a liquor store in the poor section of a large
city. In front of the liquor store was a sign reading: Dr.
Williams Is Upstairs.

FARM TO FACTORY - WE CAN HELP

When he died, he had no relatives and he left no money for

his burial. He had never asked for payment from anyone he
ad ever treated. Friends and patients scraped enough money
together to bury the good doctor, but they had no money
for a tombstone. It appeared that his grave was going to be
unmarked until someone came up with a wonderful suggestion. They took the sign from in front of the liquor store and
nailed it to a post over his grave. It made a lovely epitaph: Dr.
Williams Is Upstairs.
This weeks bottom line: You can multiply happiness
by dividing it.

Polacco, The Salamander Room by Anne Mazer, Amos and Boris

encourage curiosity and utilize childrens love of stories to launch
them on a lifelong adventure in learning and reading.

Lucky Sunday

Performing at fall fling

When we started this band in an old, dusty
garage with a couple of acoustic guitars, we
had a vision. There are a lot of bands out there
that write songs, make records, tour, and bring
home some money, but our vision is a little different... we want to make music that matters.
We want to use our gifts to change people's
moods, days, weeks, months, and years. The
vision goes much deeper than that, though. It's
LuCky SuNDAy
very personal for each one of us, because without music, we would be very lost. It's scary to imagine our lives without music. There are songs
that, in certain moments of our lives, have helped us persevere and change for the better. We want
to be in those moments for people.
Words cannot describe the feeling that we get when we play our music for people. We love
making you dance, laugh, concentrate, cry, scream... you name it. It's what we do, and it's what
we want to do in the future
Lucky Sunday Members Include: Adam King - Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Piano; Jon O'Hair Lead Guitar; Zachary Combs - Bass, Vocals; Zach Mann - Drums, Percussion, Vocals.

ABLE DANGER
is the driving force behind Able
Danger. We're a progressive rock band established in the fall of 2013 in Dayton. On September
1, we released our debut EP "Chaos."
Members of the band include: Nikki Luttrell - Vocals; Chris Stewart - Guitars; Jason Winner
- Bass Guitar; and Ben Willis - Drums.
Able Danger was formed in mid-October 2013 by members of the band Hereafter (Nikki,
Jason, Ben) and guitarist Chris Stewart from the band Indignation.

CLARK
MANSON
Performing
at
fall fling
Growing up in small
town Covington, Clark
Manson wanted nothing
more than to become not
only a country singer, but
a songwriter, as well. He
discovered his love for
music at the age of three,
reciting every word to
Achy Breaky Heart and
dreaming of one day filling the boots of country
legend George Strait.
Manson moved to Fairborn, where he attempted to overlook his musical purpose
and attended Wright State University. Soon after, it was evident that being a country
artist was a dream he just wouldnt walk away from. Packing the bars of several
universities, 23-year-old Manson decided his passion for the music industry
couldnt be broken.
In the summer of 2013, Manson became officially sponsored by Jagermeister
USA. He released his debut album in November of that year, Running with the
Night, which quickly climbed the iTunes charts, peaking at No. 30 on the day of
its release. It also checked in at No. 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and
has received much recognition all around the world by some of Mansons 33,000
Twitter followers and fans. Since the album release, he has swamped ticket booths,
selling out a number of shows and quickly becoming a notable country vision in
states ranging from Wisconsin all the way to Texas.
In between late night shows and road tours, Manson headed to Nashville to undertake a new EP, which was released in June.
I learned early on that persistence and hard work will get you a long way in
life, said Clark. Every day, I strive to be a better person, artist, and businessman.
With much talent and a fierce determination, Manson continues his quest to the
top. Scheduled to appear with some of Nashvilles finest this summer, as well as
headlining multiple festivals. its hard telling where this incredibly talented, up and
coming country artist will be next.
