REAL ESTATE IN
DUNN LORING WOODS

The real estate market in Dunn Loring Woods
has been heating up all summer along with the
weather. There are several houses for sale and
several houses for rent. Houses on the market
are selling very quickly. If you have friends or
family who are interested in moving to Dunn
Loring Woods, now is a good time for them to
check out what is available.

SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS

With Summer drawing to a close schools are
opening. Students walk to Stenwood and
Thoreau schools or are driven to and from
school by car or school bus. Those of us that
drive should exercise even more caution in view
of this increased traffic especially during school
arrival and departure times. Those of us that
drive our students to and from school should be
respectful of the neighborhoods we drive
through and obey all applicable traffic laws,
including speed limits, traffic and parking signs
and proper pedestrian and vehicle rights of way.
Here is to a safe and successful school year.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

Neighborhood Watch is most important to DLW
in helping to deter crime and ensure the safety of
residents and their homes. The police depend
on Neighborhood Watch programs in carrying
out their protective duties. Our Neighborhood
Watch coordinator, Mark Hann, needs
volunteers for the program. It doesnt take much
time and is a valuable contribution to the DLW
community. Please contact Mark at 703-489-
9463 or mghann@verizon.net for information
and to sign up.
