“DO THE KINDS OF THINGS THAT COME FROM YOUR HEART. When you do, youwon’t be dissatisfied, you won’t be envious, you won’t be longing for somebodyelse’s things. On the contrary, you’ll be overwhelmed with what comes back.”
--Morrie Schwarts (from Tuesdays With Morrie)
My intention of writing this eBook (and sharing it for free) is to help other lightworkers intheir journey to successful self-employment. I think more and more people will be self-employed in the New World, so better start sooner than later.I finally made the jump in my forties. Looking back, I wish I did it earlier. I had opportunities.Like when I was let go from my corporate trainer position. I could have utilized the job lossas an opportunity to be on my own. Instead, however, I just looked for another job.For many years, I knew something was calling me, but I ignored it and stayed in the cushyposition in the corporate world. I didn’t hate my corporate job -- I think all the positions Iheld were great educational ground. For instance, my last “job” as executive assistant gaveme the chance to see all aspects of a mid-size business and the opportunity to work withvarious personnel, from housekeepers to CEO of a billion-dollar multinational corporation. All those years, however, the internal tension was growing, until one day I finally admitted itwas time.I wish I had a mentor or at least a book that would have helped me navigate my way to self-employment. Someone who could help me see that I already overgrew my role in thecompany. Some books that showed me how to get started as an aspiring entrepreneur. So this is why I’m writing this eBook -- I guess there are people out there who are in thesame place I was before. If this little eBook can shed some light to them, I am honored.
