The man, the man's wife, and one other guy survived a ship wreck. Thethree people were marooned on a desert island for a long time. Theysurvived on the bits of food they could find. One day the other guy sayshe will make dinner for everybody. The man comes to dinner, but he couldnot find his wife. The man enjoyed the dinner so much he asked the otherguy what it was. The other guy said it was Albatross. Eventually thetwo men are rescued and the man was very sad that he never found his wife.When the man gets back to civilization, he goes into a restaurant andorders Albatross. When he tastes the food the waiter brings he realizes

When he died, he willed his 17 camels to the sons,to be divided as follows: First Son to get 1/2 of the camels Second Son to get1/3rd of the camels Third Son to get 1/9th of the camels. The sons are sittingthere trying to figure out how this can possibly be done, when a very old wiseman goes riding by. They stop him and ask him to help them solve their problem.Without hesitation he divides the camels properly and continues riding on hisway. How did he do it?

 The old man temporarily added his camel to the 17, making a total of 18 camels.1/2 = 91/3 = 61/9 = 2for a total of 17. He then takes his camel back and rides away......
