Introduction

Purpose
: Primavera 5.0 is used for scheduling and managing both small andlarge projects. This guide will show you how to install the student version of Primavera5.0. This software will be used in MAE554, Project Management, and in businessesaround the country.
Necessary Tools
:

A computer running Windows 2000, Windows 2003, or Windows XP.
•
A network interface card
•
Active networking software
•
Primavera 5.0 CD-Rom
Recommendations:
Before installation close any programs on your computer and save any unsaved work.
Installing the Educational Version of Primavera 5.0

Start by inserting the Primavera 5.0 CD into your computer’s CD Rom drive, astartup guide should appear.
Note
: if this screen does not appear double click the CD drive from the “MyComputer” folder, and then double click SETUP.exe.2.
Click the “Install Client Applications” from the introductory screen.
