Wow Laurel! I'm extremely flattered by your rave review, and I'm really glad you like the report. Thank you. It's funny that you mentioned how we get overjoyed when the results begin to become reality because I get more excited about a client's success than I do my own more often than not. I love it when they climb in the rankings and begin to reap the financial benefits associated. You mean the "SEO Fairy" really doesn't exist? LOL Some people really do think that's how it works unfortunately. They think we can just lob a call to Google and tell them that we know of this really reputable company that deserves a #1 ranking, and Google will oblige. The report was created as much for potential clients that always seem rather shocked at the monthly fees we charge, and we're relatively inexpensive when compared to most firms. This will obviously help us overcome that objection a little easier, but it'll also help marketing executives new to the SEO game get a good feel for what a quality campaign will cost them so they can budget accordingly. Again, I really appreciate your compliments and hope we cross paths again soon. Roger

Yet another outstanding Article, Roger! "IF" I were a company that had bottomless pockets, I wouldn't blink an eye at having a "high end" company do my SEO and web design so that my Clients could find me and I could make tons of mad cash. But, if I were that company with loads of cash - I would already have my own SEO Team "in house" as the logical, cost effective advertising solution. I wonder, do folks think that the SEO Fairy visits them online and "tells" Google to rank them highly - or index them on the first page of a given search query? Perhaps folks think that someone at Yahoo or the MSN desk reviews websites all day and decides "Wow, I like that company - let's index them really well for high visibility - we really care about what they are selling and more people should know about them!". That is just NOT the case. It is my personal belief that $40-$50 an hour for "consultation" is NOT too much for a qualified Certified SEO to help you out. The research is labor and time intensive! Gone are the days when you can blast out a super cool PR campaign and the local public then adores you and buys your "stuff"...books, or whatever.... Good SEO costs. Good SEO'rs really do care about their Clients and work diligently to get them the best results...we are not faceless algorithms. We have the ability to actually get people the results they need - and it is a long journey - like planting a tree - not an overnight deal. But we become dedicated to "the cause" and overjoyed when we produce the desired results for our Clients. Good SEO gets results. Thank you for your report, it's outstanding information. Even though we are in related fields, I have the utmost respect for your work and your Company. I wouldn't hesitate to use you for my SEO. It's all about who you can trust anymore. I look forward to your "Articles" and publications. By your forthrightness, you are making yourselves stand out. It is brave to honestly lay bare what the competition is doing - and do so fairly. Bravo for you.
