ABSTRAK
Kegiatan penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengembangan suatu media pembelajaran interaktif berupa aplikasi permainan. Proses pengembangan dilakukan dalam rangkaian kegiatan kolaborasi antara dosen, mahasiswa, guru dan pakar. Sebagaimana diketahui pemanfaatan teknologi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan semakin dirasakan kegunaannya. Dalam kondisi yang lebih ekstrim bahkan pemanfaatan teknologi dijadikan sebagai parameter peradaban suatu objek. Indonesia sendiri, melalui Keppres No. 6/2001, pemerintah Indonesia telah mulai mencanangkan e-education. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan serta peserta ajar dapat lebih mengoptimalkan potensi kemampuan literasi komputer (computer literacy) yang dimiliki. Salah satu bentuk media TIK yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam lingkup pendidikan adalah aplikasi permainan. Kajian literatur yang pernah dilakukan mengungkap suatu fakta bahwa aplikasi permainan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, mempercepat pemrosesan informasi dan menyelesaikan masalah, sekaligus meningkatkan kepekaan sosial dan kemampuan akademik. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari desain penelitian utama dalam bidang kajian Gaming for Classroom-Based Learning yang akan dikembangkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Komputer berdasarkan pada A Taxonomy of Educational Games dari OBrien, University of Illinois, USA (Baek, 2010 : 1). Dari kegiatan penelitian ini, dikembangkan suatu media yang relevan dalam mengoptimalisasi proses pembelajaran TIK yang kontekstual dan bermakna. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian media atau aplikasi yang dilakukan, diperoleh informasi bahwa sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang cukup baik dalam proses pembelajaran yang sedang dilangsungkan.

The research activity is focused on developing an interactive learning medium in the form of game applications. The process of developing a series of activities carried out incollaboration between faculty, students, teachers and experts. As is known the use of technology in various aspects of life increasingly perceived usefulness. In more extreme conditions even the use of technology be used as a parameter of civilization of an object. Indonesia, through Presidential Decree No.6/2001, the government of Indonesia has launched the e-education began. This is so that the educators and participants can further optimize the potential of teaching computer literacy skills owned. One form of media that can be utilized ICT in education is the application scope of the game. Ever conducted a literature review reveals a fact that the game applications can improvestudents' learning interest, accelerate the processing of information and solve problems,while enhancing the sensitivity of social and academic skills. This study is part of the design research in the field of study Gaming for Classroom-Based Learning to be developed by the Educational Studies Program in Computer Science based on ATaxonomy of Educational Games from O'Brien, University of Illinois, USA (Baek, 2010: 1). From this research activity, developed a media that are relevant in optimizing the learning process is contextual and meaningful ICT. Based on the results of testing conductedmedia or application, obtained information that the majority of students showedconsiderable enthusiasm both in the learning process which is being held.

Pendahuluan Penggunaan teknologi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan semakin dirasakan kemanfaatannya. Dalam kondisi yang lebih ekstrim bahkan pemanfaatan teknologi dijadikan sebagai parameter peradaban suatu objek. Melalui Keppres No. 6/2001, pemerintah Indonesia telah mulai mencanangkan e-education. Ini berarti bahwa pemerintah telah mulai mencoba menginisiasi pemanfaatan TIK dalam bidang pendidikan. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan serta peserta ajar agar dapat lebih meningkatkan kemampuan literasi komputer (computer literacy). Dengan hadirnya TIK, siswa dapat diarahkan pada proses belajar yang bermakna melalui pendekatan problem based atau case-based learning. Selain itu TIK juga mendorong siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif maupun kolaboratif dalam sebuah proses belajar mengajar. TIK memberikan pengalaman berpikir konstruktif, intentional, dan reflektif, tanpa menghilangkan kesempatan untuk memiliki pengalaman belajar conversational (Jonassen (1995), dikutip oleh Norton et al (2001)). Salah satu media yang bisa digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran adalah aplikasi permainan (games). Dengan games, siswa diajak untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam mata pelajaran tertentu dengan cara menyelesaikan latihan maupun simulasi yang tertuang dalam aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari desain penelitian utama dalam bidang kajian Gaming for Classroom-Based Learning yang akan dikembangkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Komputer berdasarkan pada A Taxonomy of Educational Games dari OBrien, University of Illinois, USA (Baek, 2010 : 1). Taxonomy OBrien ini merupakan taxonomy yang diperutukkan dalam pengembangan aplikasi permainan edukatif dengan melibatkan beberapa learning objective lainnya sebagai parameter pengembangan tingkat lanjut, semisal Gagnes Learning Outcomes, Blooms Educational Objective dan Jonassens Problem Solving Types. Metode Penelitian Dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini, secara umum, langkah-langkah dilakukan adalah : 1. Persiapan Penelitian Tahap ini meliputi tahap persiapan proposal, penentuan strategi pelaksanaan penelitian, sampai dengan persetujuan proposal 2. Pengumpulan Data (Application Requierements) dan Analisis Desain Pada tahap ini, akan dilibatkan para pendidik yang bertugas untuk menentukan strategi pembelajaran yang akan diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi permainan edukatif, sekaligus menentukan materi pembelajaran yang harus tercakup didalam aplikasi tersebut. Selain komponen pendidik, para praktisi aplikasi permainan juga akan diundang untuk mensinergikan komponen pembelajaran dengan komponen aplikasi sehingga terbentuklah skenario dan desain aplikasi. Dari sinilah para pembangun software (software developer) dapat menentukan komponen-komponen teknis yang ia butuhkan untuk membangun aplikasi tersebut. 3. Pembangunan Aplikasi ( Software Development ) Tim pembangun software memiliki fungsi utama tahap ini. Mereka akan mengimplementasikan aplikasi permainan sesuai dengan desain yang telah disetujui hingga menghasilkan prototype pertama dari aplikasi permainan tersebut. 4. Pengujian dan Revisi Setelah prototype pertama dihasilkan maka akan diujicoba untuk dimainkan oleh para pendidik dan praktisi game yang telah terlibat pada tahap pengumpulan data. Revisi-revisi akan dilakukan demi tercapainya kesesuaian antara aplikasi permainan dengan skenario pembelajaran. 5. Implementasi dan Penyusunan Laporan Pada tahap ini aplikasi permainan edukatif telah siap untuk diujicobakan kepada siswa dan dilakukan analisa terhadap pandangan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang baru. Ketika seluruh proses penelitian telah berakhir maka disusunlah laporan penelitian.
Hasil Penelitian dan Pembahasan Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan suatu aplikasi permainan (games) yang juga dapat berperan sebagai media pembelajaran dan mengetahui sejauhmana pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi permainan tersebut terhadap proses pembelajaran di kelas dan motovasi belajar siswa. Terdapat 3 (tiga) aspek yang peneliti amati dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi ini sebagai media pembelajaran, yaitu aspek multimedia, aspek pembelajaran dan aspek penggunaan. Penilaian terhadap aspek multimedia terutama yang berkenaan dengan tampilan dan animasi secara keseluruhan, sebanyak 31 orang (sekitar 73,81%) siswa menyatakan bahwa tampilan dan animasi yang ditampilkan dari 0 10 20 30 40 T a m p i l a n & A n i m a s i E f e k

Sementara dalam hal efek suara, sebanyak 28 orang (sekitar 66,67%) siswa menyatakan bahwa efek suara yang diberikan berada pada level baik. Penilaian terhadap aspek pembelajaran, yang meliputi materi, soal ingatan, soal pemahaman, soal analitis, kualitas soal dan kesesuaian soal dengan materi ajar juga didominasi oleh level baik. Berkenaan dengan materi ajar yang disampaikan dalam aplikasi, sebanyak 29 orang (sekitar 69,05%) siswa menyatakan bahwa materi ajar yang ditampilkan dari aplikasi ini berada dalam level baik. Sementara, dalam hal soal-soal ingatan, sebanyak 34 orang (sekitar 80,95%) siswa menyatakan bahwa soal-soal ingatan yang diberikan berada pada level baik. Sementara itu, untuk soal-soal pemahaman, sebanyak 30 orang (sekitar 71,43%) siswa menyatakan bahwa soal-soal pemahaman yang diberikan berada pada level baik. Untuk soal-soal analitis, sebanyak 26 orang (sekitar 61,90%) siswa menyatakan bahwa soal-soal analitis yang diberikan berada pada level baik. Secara keseluruhan, 28 orang (sekitar 66,67%) siswa berpendapat bahwa kualitas soal yang diberikan termasuk ke dalam level baik. Ditinjau dari aspek kesesuaian materi dengan soal yang diberikan, 34 orang (sekitar 80,95%) siswa berpendapat bahwa soal-soal yang diberikan sudah sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan atau dengan kata lain kesesuaian soal dan materi yang ditampilkan masuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil penelusuran peneliti terhadap ketertarikan siswa terhadap aplikasi ini menunjukkan bahwa 52,38% siswa tertarik dengan aplikasi ini, sementara 28,57% mengaku perlu adanya penambahan beberapa fitur agar aplikasi ini lebih mengasyikkan dan menantang

Through Presidential Decree No.6/2001, the government of Indonesia has launched the e-education began. This means that the government has begun to try to initiate the use of ICT in education. This is so that the educators and participants in order to further improve teaching computer literacy skills With the presence of ICT, students can be directed to the process of meaningful learning through a problem based or case-based learning. In addition ICT also encourages students to engage actively and collaboratively in a learning process. ICTs provide the experience of constructive thinking, intentional, and reflective, without eliminating the opportunity to have a conversational learning experience (Jonassen (1995), quoted by Norton et al (2001)). One of the media that can be used by teachers in learning is the application of game. With the games, students are encouraged to solve problems in a particular subject by solving exercises and simulations contained in the application. This study is part of the design research in the field of study Gaming for Classroom-Based Learning to be developed by the Computer Science Education Departement based on A Taxonomy of Educational Games from O'Brien, University of Illinois, USA (Baek, 2010: 1). O'Brien Taxonomy is a taxonomy that for development of educational games applications involving several other learning objectives as the development of advanced parameters, such as Gagne's Learning Outcomes, Bloom'sEducational Objective and Jonassen's Problem Solving Types. Research methods
In conducting this research, in general, the steps performed are : 1. Preparation of Research This stage includes the preparation of proposals, the determination of strategy implementation research, until the approval of the proposal 2. Data Collection (Application Requierements) and Design Analysis At this stage, will be involved educators whose task was to determine the learning strategies that will be integrated with the application of educational games, as well asdetermine the learning materials should be included in the application. In addition tocomponents of educators, practitioners game applications will also be invited to synergize with learning components forming the application components and application design scenarios. Where the builders of software (software developers) can determine the technical components that they needs to build the application. 3. Application Development Team builder software has the primary function of this stage. They will implement a game application in accordance with the approved designs to produce the first prototype of thegame application. 4. Software Testing and Revision Having produced the first prototype will be tested to be played by educators and practitioners game that has been involved at this stage of data collection. Revisions will be made to achieve compatibility between applications game by learning scenario 5. Implement and Report Preparation At this stage the application has been prepared for educational games to students tested and performed analysis of the views of students towards learning new media. When the whole research process has ended then drafted the report.
Result and Discussion
The main objective of this study was to develop a game application (games) that can also serve as a medium of learning and knowing how far the influence of the use of applications such games on learning in the classroom and student learning motovasi. There are 3 (three) aspects that researchers have observed in the utilization of these applications as a medium of learning, namely the multimedia aspects, aspects of learning and aspects of the use. Assessment of the multimedia aspects especially with regard to the overall look and animations, as many as 31 people (approximately 73.81%) students stated that the display and animation is shown of the application is in a good level. While in terms of sound effects, as many as 28 people (approximately 66.67%) students stated that the effect of votes cast at the level of good. Assessment of aspects of learning, which includes material, about memory, about understanding, analytical problems, quality problems and problems with the suitability of teaching materials is also dominated by a good level. With regard to the teaching materials presented in the application, as many as 29 people (approximately 69.05%) students stated that the teaching material displayed from this application are in a good level. Meanwhile, in the case of memory problems, as many as 34 people (approximately 80.95%) students stated that the questions provided memory is at a good level. Meanwhile, for the problems of understanding, as many as 30 people (approximately 71.43%) students stated that the comprehension questions provided at the level of good.For analytical problems, as many as 26 people (approximately 61.90%) students stated that the analytical problems given at the level of good. Overall, 28 people (approximately 66.67%) students thought that the quality of the given problem belongs to the good level.Judging from the material aspects of compliance with the given problem, 34 people (approximately 80.95%) students thought that the questions are supplied in accordance with the material being taught, or in other words about the suitability and material displayed in the category either. Researchers search results on students' interest towards this application shows that 52.38% of students interested in this application, while 28.57% claimed to need the addition of several features that this application is more exciting and challenging.
