Date : (To be filled in by Sales / Branch Personnel) 1. What is this product about? This is an unsecured personal financing calculated on a flat rate basis.
The terms and conditions are as follows : Malaysian citizen aged 21 to 60 years old (subject to retirement age at the end of the financing tenure). Employee of government / Statutory Bodies and selected organizations which facilitate salary deduction through BPA. Minimum fixed income of RM800 per month. Permanent employee who has been employed for 3 months. For contract / temporary employee (must be employed 12 months) must provide a guarantor (permanent government servant and has been employed 6 months). BSN GIRO / GIRO-i account holder. 2. What is the Shariah concept applicable? The Shariah concept used is Tawarruq which comprises of Bai Murabahah and Wakalah contracts using the commodity (underlying asset) from Bursa Suq al Sila. Commodity Murabahah is referring to trading of commodities which acts as underlying assets of a transaction and customer makes payment of the sale price of the commodities on deferred basis with cost plus profit. Under the Wakalah contract, customer requests Bank to sell the commodity in the market. With the concept of Tawarruq, customers will receive cash in exchange for the commodities being sold off to a third party. 3. What do I get from this product? Total selling price : RM

6. What if I fail to fulfil my obligations? Late payment charges will be imposed and is calculated on a monthly basis which consists of Tawidh (compensation) and Gharamah (penalty). Gharamah shall be channeled by the Bank to the approved charitable organizations.

The Bank may set-off or transfer any credit balance in your account maintained with the Bank against any outstanding amount in this financing account by giving 7 days prior notice before such set-off or transfer.
Legal action will be taken if you fail to respond to reminder notices and legal cost will be borne by you - if applicable.
Legal action against you may affect your credit rating leading to credit being more difficult or expensive to you. 7. What if I fully settle the financing before its maturity? Early settlement is allowable at any time by giving written notice to the Bank.
The Bank shall grant Ibra to the customer where there is : i. Early settlement or for early redemption of the Facility; or ii. Settlement of the original financing contract due to financing restructuring exercise; or iii. Settlement by Customer in the case of default; or iv. Settlement by Customer in the event of termination or cancellation of financing before the maturity date.
The applicable formula for Ibra = Deferred Profit - Early Settlement Charges (if any).
Bank reserves the rights to charge any fees and charges which represent the actual charges advanced by the Bank for the facility or any actual cost incurred by the Bank as a result of early settlement. 8. Do I need a guarantor or collateral? Guarantor is only applicable for contractual / temporary staff (must be employed 12 months).
Collateral is not applicable for this product. 9. What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details? It is important that you inform us any changes in your contact details (in writing or email) to ensure that all correspondences reach you in the timely manner.
