MLK Day Chapter Grants
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a key National Day of Service for AmeriCorps Alums, as thenation shines a spotlight on service and the important work alums are committed to 365 days ayear. We arethrilled since NCCC alumni continuallyshowcase extreme pride and commitment toservice! Hands on New Orleans wasfounded and is run 100% by alumni, forexample.Highlights in 2010: 1) National AmeriCorpsWeek grants to alumni chapters and NCCCcampuses to do projects and celebrationevents together May 8-15, 2010. 2) NewNCCC national blog and expanded socialmedia sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
