This article discusses the possibility that a class of high temperature superconductors could be used as active material for the construction of a quantum source of High Frequency Gravitational Waves (HFGW) termed HTSC GASER. The concept is similar to the laser diode, with the difference that the material is chosen to enhance spin-2 gravitational transitions, and suppress electric and magnetic transitions. Coherence is provided by Bose condensation instead of electromagnetic resonance in a cavity.
