This little book basically goes through about 80 herbs that are the most common, no matter which continent you are on, describing their actions and how to use them. Very helpful with the thousands of herbs there are to choose from, to have a book condensed to a good number of the main herbs to be used. It also tells all the basics about how to make tinctures, teas, fill capsules, etc. All from the proper perspective, that Yahweh created natural medicine. I personally don't agree with everything he says, such as "vinegar is the least desired method of extraction," etc,. just a couple tiny points like that. Great book.
The best herbals I've ever read in my life are by Juliette de Bairacli Levi, she referenced that a biblical foundation is the best to give children so I trusted her more than other modern authors. Also, she writes in such a way that you learn herbalism very thoroughly, before you start realizing it. She's got to be in her 90's now. Also, with hers, you learn a LOT of natural ways to go about surviving and other things because she travelled with the gypsies and beduoins.
