ABSTRACT
Type: retrospective study
Objective: To evaluation the effect of the age and final college grading on the outcome and career of the medical postgraduate trainees completing their study
Design: Survey of results of questionnaires completed by worker.
Setting: unite of high education/ College of Medicine / University of Sulemani
Subjects: 42 higher study graduate in general surgery ant surgical specialties.
Results: Age of the trainee and his final college grading will affect his study outcome
Conclusions: although the length of the duration between graduation from college to joining the higher study will affect their final grading adversely but final college grading has minimal effect on their final grading in the higher study.
