My Soul Magnifies the Lord! Ponderings from the heart of Mary at Christmas

I¶ve found myself strangely drawn to the heart of Mary this Christmas. Not really her experienceof being the mother of Christ, but rather the heart of a woman who responded well to God.For my deepest desire is to respond well to God. Mine won¶t be a name that stands the test of time like Mary¶s. But my heart is that those put in this world to love me and be loved by mewould see me respond to the surprises God brings my way, good or bad, with the same grace anddignity that characterized the mother of our Lord.So this Christmas, my prayer is that you would be blessed by what the Lord has shown me abouthis chosen woman. And that the words of your heart would respond to Him like Mary¶s wordsof old«
