1.
Turn on the #3020 Lamina-tor and it will be warm andready to go, by the timeyou're done with your nextstep.
2.
Draw a pattern for bothstocking shapes & cuff shapeson plain copy paper. Cut thisout with your fine-tip scissors. Insert each piece into a hot pocket (I put the stocking & cuff shape for each type, into a 5”x 7” hot pocket). Run these through the laminator. Cut each pat-tern piece out, and now you have a reusable pattern to make several cards, and the patternwon't rip, tear, crinkle, or fall apart on you!
3.
Once you've selected your patterned paper, place the pattern piece on the paper, and cutone piece for each card you want to make. The Imaginisce Polar Expression Holiday papers areperfect for this, because they are double-sided. Instantly you have 2 different sides!
4.
Alternatively, you may use a different coordinating piece of paper, and add thickness by us-ing two pieces together. You can do this for the cuff pieces as well, and your card will be perfecton the front and the back!
5.
You have so many options as to how you do your edges. I chose to ink most of mine, usingthe Colorbox Inks. Pick a coordinating ink color and ink the whole edge.
6.
Alternatively, you might want to sew an edge, or add pipe trim around the edge.
7.
For a sewn edge: Place your card on a cutting mat, and pierce holes along the whole outsideedge of the card, about 1/4" apart. Choose your fibre/thread and with the sewing needle, sewa whip stitch along the whole edge. The ends you'll cover when you add the cuff at the top of the card.
