November 2008, John Parsons explainedthat the item had been deferred to enable an examination of recordsregarding the claim that Bournemouth depot had been deducted an incorrectnumber of hours leave on Christmas Day for several years.Details of hours in correctly deducted since Christmas 2002 were distributedto the meeting and it was explained that it was proposed that this leavewould be re-credited to staff records. In response to a question from staff side, it was explained that recordsonly existed from 2002 onwards.Pete Gale said that records of staff employed at the depot existed and onthis basis he wished to see a negotiated settlement to include the years forwhich no information existed.John Parsons said that whilst records did not exist prior to 2002 it wasknown that staff were regularly released early Christmas day. No account ofthis had been taken when calculating leave owed from 2002 to 2007.Following further discussion, Pete Gale said that the proposal on the tablewould be put to staff and he would report back on their response.
