Aphthous ulcers
Canker sores (Aphthous ulcers) are verycommon. Typically, they are a shallowulcer with a white or whitish/yellow basesurrounded by a reddish border. This ulcer is seen in an individual with AIDS and islocated in front and just below the bottomteeth.
