Avoid Being Tricked By Those Bad Wedding VendorsWe have already heard stories about bad wedding vendors just disappearing into thin air after receiving the whole payment for their services or even half of their payment. Bridalstores all of a sudden closing up, leaving the bride with nowedding dressat the lastminute. Photographers and DJ's getting substituted by a different one, living the day inrumble since they do not know what the bride and grooms want to happen for the big day.You definitely do not want those nasty stories end up yours! So before you go find andhire a vendor, consider these:Book your planners and venue as early as possible. You have a year of planning and if something happens or if you have major and minor changes, you can easily makealternate arrangements. Keep in mind that most wedding vendors can charge you for ahigher price if you book them a bit late.Ask your newly married friends and family if they have vendors that they can trust. Ask referrals from them and do not just hire the first caterer you meet. Ask around first and dosome research on them first. You could also call your local Better Business Bureau if youwant to be extra careful and ask if they have received a particular problem with thecompany that you are considering of hiring. You also need to discuss to your vendors your expectations and outline the things thatthey need to do. Get everything in writing. From the big details, to the small details! Youneed to have it written down. Do not just assume they will do everything just because youfelt comfortable with them. Both should agree on all points before signing the contract. For example, your vendor should have a complete description on how many bouquetsyou are expecting, the exact type and color of the flowers for your  wedding centerpiecesand more. You should also read the contracts carefully and pay particular attention to their cancellation policy. You need to find out if they have refund policy for your deposit if you cancel or change the wedding date. Of course, if you are going to cancel your wedding and you want a refund two days before the wedding, it will be unreasonable toexpect that they are giving you any.You should also include a written statement on the contract that you will not pay for their services and will expect a complete refund on any deposit if your vendors will not deliver as what is specified in the contract. A wedding disaster may occur if your original DJwho has your music list got substituted in the last minute and does not even have anyideas on what songs to play at your ceremony and reception. So be aware of this sinceyou do not want to pay for a substitute who can ruin your wedding.
