Newsletter Returns
After several months, the Church’s provincialnewsletter has returned. At our Annual GeneralMeeting and in the Board we talked about why wehave a newsletter and how useful it can be inpromoting a feeling that we’re in this together. Wecan talk with each other around the province, exchange news of our Temples and their activities, keep up to date on the legalities (Board of Directors, bylaws - things that interest only a few of us, butkeep us legal), and share ideas and resources.Above all else we can celebrate ourachievements and successes, and build our commonpurpose and activities! This issue has a great deal of words in it, mainlythe annual reports of our Temples and the church asa whole. We would dearly like to get contributionsfrom readers and others to fill out the mix.The editor will be Sam Wagar, Secretary of theBoard of directors. Submissions (which can be book reviews, recipes, theological speculation, ritualscripts and news of your area or the Pagancommunities in general) can be sent tosamwagar@shaw.ca. All opinions expressed by aperson in the newsletter, aside from those peopleauthorized to speak for CWA-BC, will be theopinions of the person only, and may not reflect theopinions of the Church or the Temple to which theperson belongs. The editor reserves the right to edit -to refuse to print material and to request changes.Page of Pentacles has been published threeweeks before each Sabbat and we might betweaking the schedule to get more information out topeople more quickly than that. But for now - thenext deadline for submissions is January 10th and wewill have the newsletter in your mailbox and up onthe website shortly after that.On December 12th, a Pagan Craft Fair will be heldat St. James’ Community Square 3214 West 10thAvenue in Vancouver. 10:30-3:00.Threads (Pagan books and supplies store owned bySable) will be coming to the Lower Mainland onDecember 12th to sell our wares, and we won’t bealone!
