Solar constant
The solar constant is defined as the quantityof solar energy (W/m²) at normal incidenceoutside the atmosphere (extraterrestrial) at themean sun-earth distance. Its mean value is1367.7 W/m².
 Unit: degree
 The arc or portion of the earth's equator intersected between themeridianof a given place and areference meridian (usually the one from Greenwich,England). The longitude is taken positive east of theGreenwich meridian and negative west of theGreenwich meridian
Unit: degree
The angular distance north or south from theearth's equator measured through 90 degrees.The latitude is taken positive in the northernhemisphere
