How to start a Direct Sales Company:::A quick how to…

Let me first introduce myself. I’m Tara Burner, business owner. I’m not new to the world of business ownership. I have owned my own businesses for the last 20 years. It is my passionand experience that make me successful. As a result of two generations of experience, Ihave been able to see first hand what works and what doesn't work. I have startednumerous direct sales companies and have sold them at a profit, along with a variety of other businesses. I have experience in developing businesses and selling them to others tocarry on with their own success with an existing company. I’ve been at the forefrontof starting businesses that at the time they weren’t even heard of ~ errand servicebefore errand and concierge services were “big”, dog bakery before the pet bakeryindustry started and others.
What are the ingredients to success?
Selling an item or service that people need and will buy. This along with carrying aproduct line that you can firmly stand behind or a service that you can be proud tooffer. Many people will say you have to have passion for what you sell and like what yousell. I don’t necessarily agree with that. Reality is this, if you love an item and nobody has aneed for it or will pay you for it, then it’s not going to lead to your success…no matter howmuch
might love it! Items and services that people
need and will pay for
is whatsells.Compassion. Strength. Integrity. Those elements create a winning combination of not only an organization but of the people it employs, and those are elements I’vebased my years of experience on. You have to be committed to succeed in all areas, whether in business, personal life, volunteer work. To succeed you must be able tocontinue on and give it your all and press through the trying times until success isyours.
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.- John C. Maxwell
