Minutes of Last Meeting The minutes of the meeting held on the 28th January were approved subject to Clllr. Dobson being declared present. Proposed F Baldwin, Seconded C Law. 5. Matters Arising From Previous Meeting (i) The Chairman reminded the meeting that issues of noise or other issues that are troublesome to residents should be reported through the appropriate official channels namely the Police or Newark & Sherwood Environmental Officer. It is not appropriate to discuss individuals within an open public meeting. Anecdotally it appears that the issue has improved in recent weeks. 6. Correspondence The Clerk informed the meeting of a survey being conducted by NHS England on improving dental care and oral health. Residents wishing to take part can do so by completing an on-line survey by the 16th May 2014, the survey can be found here (https://www.engage.england.nhs.uk/survey/301e3efe ). 7. Planning Applications Two planning application were considered and the results of a ballot were as follows. (i) Erection of a two storey side extension including balcony to rear, Blake Cottage, Swinderby Road. Supported 12, Not Supported 1, No View 0 (ii) First floor extension to rear of property, Chestnut Tree House, 3 Council House, Main Street. Supported 11, Not Supported 1, No View 1 The Clerk will inform Newark & Sherwood Planning of the outcome. 8. Any Other Business Councillor Dobson informed the meeting that a meeting to discuss the setting up of a satellite library to Collingham at South Scarle will be held on the 31st March at the SSCC commencing 3.30pm, all welcome.
