1ABSTRACT
Not all countries succeeded in their development program, which resulted in a far gap among high-income economic countries and low income economic countries. Indonesia, belonging to lower middle-income economic countries, is still facingserious problems causing development barriers together with other developingcountries. This writing wishes to tell the connections between what are said to be
the development barriers with Indonesia’s economic development situation. F

studying literatures and data of Indonesia’s realistic conditions the writers are
affirmed that the development barriers are indeed obstacles to achievedevelopment goals.
