-Ah Kauil Chel(Edmonson 1982)There can be no more pressing concern or lofty goal on Earth today than the cessationof the senseless destruction of human life and its cradle the biosphere. This effortrequires us to address a fundamental problem within the human psyche, the human psyche being the ultimate source of all fear-driven ideologies and their attendant war technologies. Clearly anything that engages in the destruction of itself and itsenvironment is not acting rationally. In order to correct the problem it is necessary firstand foremost that we as humans identify our irrational tendencies and replace themwith rational solutions. The key to this process is the understanding, mathematically,of our relationship to one another and our environment. The key is mathematical, because no discipline is more fundamental to the understanding of nature and thehuman mind than the science of number. It is by grasping the relationships of numbersto one another that we learn to speak the language of reality. This ‘language’ is whatwe call rationale, a rational thought being one that is based on sound mathematicalrelationships: ratio.Although the culture of war uses math to its advantage this veneer is washing away inlight of the enormous debt accrued by the government of the world’s largest military.It is obvious that the current global economy as managed by organizations such as theIMF and World Bank and overseen by the G8 is unsustainable. This is why politicianssuch as George W. Bush and Al Gore talk about “fuzzy math” in the account books.We note that ‘account book’ is the root meaning of the word ‘calendar', and here iswhere we get to the heart of the matter. The current worldwide calendar (Gregorian) is

an ‘account book’ completely lacking rationale. In any science it is necessary tomaintain consistency in measurement, which is achieved by ratio. This is why, takingmeasurements in physics, we know that 12" is always equal to 1', and that 3' is alwaysequal to 1 yard. These are easily expressed, infinitely consistent ratios 1:12 , 1:3.The question then arises: Why does our calendar upon which the accounting practicesof the global-economy (not to mention our everyday schedules) are predicated lack asimple consistency of ratio? Why for example is the month January 3 days longer thanthe month February? Isn’t this like having a metric system in which some metersmeasure 90cm and others 110cm? If our minds are accustomed to such an irrationalway of measuring time isn’t it possible that our minds themselves have becomeirrational? Now is the time to demand a rational accounting of our daily affairs. For this reasonthe 13 Moon Peace Movement has become an active worldwide force operating in over 90 countries. Being that this movement was only initiated about 14 years ago, itsefforts to this point can only be termed an amazing success. Of course the ambitiousnature of the project, as well as the current inert and irrational state of the violatedhuman psyche leaves plenty of work to be done.Any movement with implications as far reaching as calendar change is sure to bear the brunt of a huge amount of criticism and encounter controversy. Because the 13 moon peace movement is in its current form a new organization it has been of much higher priority to establish the movement and generate a grass-roots support base beforemaking a systematic response to the inevitable criticism.Some may feel this report is long overdue. We are confident however that this presentation is the demonstration of its own perfect timing. If the 13 moonDreamspell is, as promoted, a perfect calibration of time, the proof of this perfectionmust be apparent in the result of its application. We of PAN, having willinglyvolunteered ourselves as the subjects of this necessary experiment, realize that our output subsequent to immersion in the codes of time represents the data by which thetheory Time is Art shall be evaluated. Therefore, in order that the conclusions besupported, it is part and parcel of this report to demonstrate its own indelible placewithin the synchronic order. Where other critics of Dreamspell have fallen short byreacting premature of a full, comprehensive appraisal, we may now through theripening of time proceed with a more informed, holistic perspective. We do recognizethe imperative role of previous critics who, having made pains to dissect the mechanicsand origin of the Dreamspell, have laid the groundwork for this report. For their continually inspirational provocations we are much indebted. By emergingtriumphantly from this discourse, advocates of The New Time only strengthen thefoundation of our message; Time is Art.It is not our intention to posit our conclusions as the final truth on these matters, nor toconvince or convert those who may hold distinct perspectives. Rather, we see this as

an opportunity to make a clear presentation of our ideas that we may proceed in our educational outreach with the conviction that our principles are solidly rooted and havewithstood the challenge of analysis. As such, this report is intended more for PANitself and the FLT than it is for any detractors. It is our hope that by presenting our findings as objectively and openly as possible, the light of understanding may begin todawn on many things that have long been hidden. Therefore, more than the simpledefense of a theory, this report is intended to serve as a proactive learning exercise.Only by expressing our perspective to the utmost may we expect to catalyze a more profound appreciation for the role of PAN within the global human collective. It is our conviction that this increased awareness of PAN’s message of Peace Through Culturewill only assist our species’ transition back into a sustainable relationship with itself and the Earth.While some of our data (may) seem ‘coincidental’ we have nevertheless discoveredthat coincidence, when arising at an opportune time for demonstrating the message in alesson or property of nature, is a helpful tool for breaking down communication barriers and opening the doors of understanding. These meaningful coincidences aretermed ‘synchronicities’ and their ubiquitous occurrence provides a rich cornucopiafrom which we have gleaned a few of the more instructive for this report. As shall beseen, an important demonstration that the time is ripe for making conscious the principles and lessons our research has brought forth is manifest in this year’sDreamspell energy – Cosmic Seed (kin 104, 13 Kan), which will be completed on theday out of time, Cosmic Star (kin 208, 13 Lamat). These are very important points inillustrating the connection of the inscriptions on the Maya prophet Pacal’s sarcophaguslid to the “Jaguar Priest” Chilam Balam documents and the modern application of thisancient time-science. Elaboration of these meaningful-by-coincidence relationshipswill demonstrate what we mean by ‘perfect calibration of time’. Because of theinfinitely fractal character of the synchronicities we have encountered in our research,much discipline in avoiding intriguing yet unnecessary digressions has been demandedin our effort to streamline this communication into an objective, factual account. It isour intention to remark only on those synchronicities which denote an objective proof that the pattern of harmonic resonance described by the Law of Time eliminates the boundary between the objective and subjective realms. If this sounds like circular reasoning we ask the linear mind to examine its pejorative concept of the circle.We are presenting perspectives on the 13 moon Dreamspell which have not yet beenexplicated by its principle figurehead Dr. Jose Arguelles – Valum Votan.
