Acknowledgement
The descriptive study intends to explore the
Factors considered by consumers forpatronizing a retail outlet
with the emergence of new formats of retail chains it becomesessential to examine the behaviour pattern of the consumer. In this regards, store patronage becomes the key driving factor in Retail Industry. The information assimilated in thisresearch project was categorized primarily on the nature of the sources i.e. primary sources(interviewing customers with a designed questionnaire) and secondary sources (publishedarticles, text books, reference books, available journals, and web pages).2
