Use the design (on following page) to. create the rake ‘metal’ by cutting out of heavyweight paper or light card. 4. Leave to dry. The legs will be trimmed to required length later. 6, Fold over top to sandwich the legs between two piece of card. Leave to dry. 7. Then fold the side piece over the top and leave to dry. When dry trim the wires to an even size of choice. 8, Take the trimmed and stained cocktail stick and glue the cuff of the rake round the stick leave to dry. 9. Use acrylic craft paint of choice to colour the rake When dry trim handle to length required, round of the ends with an emery board and touch up with stain or paints.
