REVIEW (max. 150 words):
Harry Potter is an orphan living with his odious uncle and
aunt and their fat son, Dudley; they detest him so much that they make him live in the cupboard under the stairs, and wish he didnt exist. One day an envelope arrives addressed to him announcing that he has been chosen to attend Hogwarts; and so our magical story begins. I seldom read fiction; a decision Im so happy to admit is wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every page and at times couldnt put it down: one more chapter, I exclaimed inaudibly. J.K Rowling truly is a wonderful writer. Philosophers Stone will never cease to be revisited. First published in 1997 by Bloomsbury. The first printing had a youthful wizard Dumbledore with a short brown beard, holding a book and smoking on the dust-jacket; subsequent editions changed this to a silver long beard to be truthful to the text.
QUOTES: It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that.
