The Influence of Orientation System of Learning and Learning Motivationtoward the Learning Output Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia(Student Experiment took Place at SMPN 16 Bandar Lampung)

The aim of this experiment is to know the influence of orientation system of 
learning and learning motivation toward the learning output of Bahasa dan sastra
Indonesia. Learning strategy implemented in this experiment is the learning
which is oriented to the process and the aim, mean while learning motivation
focuses on two different categories, they are strong motivation and low
motivation.
The experiment was held at SMPN 16 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 
2.005/2006. The method applied is the experiment with factorial design 2 x 2 andthe total sampling 74 students.The data is collected by using the instrument in the form of objective test Bahasa
dan Sastra Indonesia and the other one is structured questioner to measure
learning motivation of student. The analysis of the experiment of learning output
Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia and the instrument of learning motivation is similar 
that is 0,87. Technique to analyze data uses analysis variant (ANAVA) and then
continued with Tukey at the significant level = 0,05.The result of the analysis shows,
Firstly:
There is no different learning output of Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia
between students thought with the learning system oriented to the
process with one oriented to the goal Fhitung (5,873) > Ftabei(1,671).Secondly:
For students who have high motivation, and they are tought with the
learning system oriented to the process, the result of Bahasa dan
Sastra Indonesia is much better comparing to the ones who thought
using the learning system oriented to the goal Fhitung (5,152) >
Ftabei(1,697).
Thirdly:
For students who have low motivation, and taught with the learning
system oriented to the process, the result of Bahasa dan Sastra
Indonesia is better than the ones who thought with the learning
system oriented to the goal Fhitung (4,948) > Ftabei(1,967).Fourthly:
There is an influence of interaction between learning system and
learning
motivation toward learning output of Bahasa dan Sastra
Indonesia (Fhit = 7,61 > Ftab = 3,96).
 
The implication of this experiment shows that there is an influence of interaction
between the learning system and the learning motivation toward the learning
output of Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia of the students. This influence can give
teachers input to determine strategy, technique, method, and approach to be
implemented in the classroom it will be more meaningful if students ability is
considered in order to increase students learning motivation.The learning system which is oriented to the process is strongly influenced by the
competency of teachers in the innovative system. If a teacher is creative and
innovative in terms of learning system, activities and learning process in theclassroom will give positive effect in increasing students motivation toward
learning.
