Maryland State Delegate Gerron Levi to Formally Launch Campaign

for Prince George’s County Executive on January 15th

Maryland State Delegate Gerron Levi (D) will file for the office of Prince George’s
County Executive on Friday, January 15th at 9:30 am at the Prince George’s County
Board of Elections at 16201 Trade Zone Ave. Suite 108 Upper Marlboro, MD 20774.

“Over the last 60 or so days, I have been actively exploring a run for County Executive.
After consulting with family, friends, constituents and supporters, I have decided to
formalize my intention to seek the office of Prince George’s County Executive.

“The next County Executive must offer a vision and a specific plan for the County to
address the pressing issues facing us at the local, regional and global level. I have
outlined 10-steps to a more advanced, innovation-oriented and job creating County.
Importantly, on five of those steps, I already have a well-documented record of action:
laws passed, solutions proposed, and/or programs on the ground,” said Delegate Levi.

“The times really call for extraordinary leadership and my campaign will try to make the
case that my demonstrated record and ten-step plan will move the County into a bold,
new direction. Prince George’s County needs innovative leaders to command the respect
and leadership role in the region that it so richly deserves.”

Delegate Levi is available for advance interviews. Please call (301) 801-6121.
