Great article , I'm asking this question to myself these days , it's like if you can read my mind :-) .. I think your answers are %100 true and closer to reality than the old auto-responders .

I look at the cross and I see a sign of death , pain and at the same time a sign of eternal life . I return to what jesus said looking for answers and I hear :
forget yourself , carry your cross , and follow me .
when I see my death on my cross and ask why ? , he answers : forget yourself .
when I feel all that pain and suffer that I feel sometimes and ask why ? he answers : carry your cross .
and when I look to people who die every moment and look to myself and imagine that I'm only standing in a line waiting for my turn , and ask : how do I get eternal life , eternal peace , after leaving all this behind . I hear him answer : follow me .
forget yourself , carry your cross , and follow me .

no more fear , no more pain , no more suffering . what more can I ever ask for ?!
