Group project:

Report preparation is suggested based on following points for each project. However, innovative
ideas will be appreciated.

a) Pipe line gas (cooking gas [LPG]) from source to end user
• Sources of crude oil in India
• Refineries in India
• Separation process of cooking gas from crude oil
• Storage of cooking gas
• Transport of cooking gas to the user by pipe line
b) Water for industry/domestic purposes from river water
• Typical pollutants of river water and standard procedures to measure the
contaminations
• Purification steps for domestic water
• Purification steps for non ionized water for industrial purposes
c) Nonconventional energy (each student focused on each type of nonconventional
energy)
• Different kinds of nonconventional energy
• Existing methodologies for trapping different nonconventional energy
• Economic feasibilities of exiting methodologies
• Future perspectives
d) Sources of pollution and rectification (Water pollution only)
• Sources of pollutants and Indian scenarios
• Standard methodologies to measure pollutant
• Effect of pollutants
• Rectification methodologies
e) Scope of biofuel in present and future scenarios
• Different kinds of biofuels
• Raw materials of biofuels
• Existing methodologies
• Economic feasibilities
• Future perspectives

Following points are suggested for writing the report:

1. There will be an "abstract/summary" part at the beginning which will demonstrate the
glimpse of the report in a short paragraph. The paragraph will be bounded by 300 words.
There will be also some key words.
2. 2nd part will be "Introduction" demonstrating the general ideas and motivation of the
project
3. 3rd part will be "Literature survey" on the project and will be main body of the report
4. 4th part will be "Discussion". Add your thoughts
5. 5th part will be "Conclusion"
