Walking in the Peace of God
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
Jeremiah 17: 7A woman of God, excited about what God is doing and where He is takingher. He answers her prayers, blesses her with a beautiful home. She had made acovenant with God to be used for His glory. Little did she know that with theblessing will also come a transformation; a metamorphosis into something God-ordained, yet so painful. God strategically brought about a change in her innermostbeing. Just as olives are crushed to get the oil, she was broken and crushed toreceive the anointing of the Lord. She taught other women about trusting God andletting go of the past and reaching forward to what God has planned for them.In the midst of this transformation, she begins to have difficulty trusting God.The enemy, Satan worked overtime to get her into doubt and unbelief. Yes, herfaith was on trial, she was being tested. One weekend, as she was walking through the mall, she came upon abeautiful, crushed velvet pillow with these words engraved in gold.
Blessed is theman that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
(Jeremiah 17:7). As shelooked at the words, the words became rhema words, alive, living words that spoketo her heart. She purchased the pillow and hung it in her bathroom from thedangling gold cord. Each morning she looked at the pillow with the rhema wordsand it would remind her of the promise of God. That you are blessed if you trust inGod.
