0.75 lb Crystal 60LExtract 
 
3.3 lb Gold/Light Liquid Malt Extract – Late extract addition
 
3.0 lb Gold/Light Dry Malt Extract Hops
 
1.50 oz. 6.0% AA Cascade* Pellets – 60 minutes (bittering)
 
1.25 oz. 6.0% AA Cascade* Pellets – 15 minutes (flavor)
 
1.25 oz. 6.0% AA Cascade* Pellets – 5 minutes (aroma)Yeast 
 
Wyeast 1056 American Ale Yeast (liquid) OR White Labs California Ale Yeast (WLP 001) (liquid) OR Fermentis SafAle US-05 (dry yeast)Priming Sugar
 
¾ cup (4oz by weight) corn sugarQuick Instructions
 
Bring ~1.5 gallons of water in pot to ~155F, steep grains in grain bag for 30minutes, maintaining temperature, after 30 minutes remove grain bag.
 
Add water to bring volume to 3.25 gallons.
 
Bring wort to boil, remove from flame and add dry malt extract. Bring wort to boil.
 
Add bittering hops, set and begin timer for 60 minutes.
 
With 15 minutes remaining on timer, pause timer. Remove pot from heat,add liquid malt extract.
 
Return pot to heat, bring to boil, when boil begins, start timer, add flavorhops.
 
Add aroma hops with 5 minutes remaining in boil.
 
Cool wort, add to carboy/bucket, add top off water to make total of 5.5gallons and then pitch yeast.
