Hello,
I am the TenForce product manager. I am a bit puzzled by this post. We can't find back the file you refer to. Note that the www.tenforce.com address refers to our company website (which is a textpattern site). Maybe one of the scripts you refer to came from textpattern?
Other things we use (and include on our corporate website) is crazyegg, reinvigorate and google analytics. However, these tools have such a solid reputation I doubt they contain anything malicious.
Please get in contact with me if you have questions. I would be happy to clarify.
Best regards
Frans Vanhaelewijck
I looked at the tenforce.com site 4 U and did see a scripts file that had been encrypted from address http://www. Tenforce.com/js/display.j s but unfortunately can not understand quite how to decrypt the file but this is a sure sign that something is wrong because few people would go to all this trouble without hiding something
I was on a website searching for help on a project management package my company had purchased from Tenforce.com and after a while my browser asked me
“Do you want to allow this page to paste information from your clipboards”
This was not funny as I had just used the clipboard to copy some confidential information into outlook express and did not think much about it at the time believing that I had pressed the wrong key but later it happened again so I asked internal security to test my computer for a virus.
Nothing was found so we both searched the internet and found
http://www.sourcecodesworld.com/special/clipboa... only to discover it could read the clipboard from my computer using a malicious script and later we managed to change the security settings for internet explore to stop this happening again.
Clearly this shocked me as it appears our supplier has a security problem or is deliberately committing fraud and I want to catch them before I see my manager so please help me.
I have saved the page http://www.tenforce.com/modules/ and would like help from a script expert to prove it has a virus and will ask our company to pay for your service if anything turns up but please do not approach tenforce as this will allow them to remove it..
Thank you
