Position No. 1
Title : National Project Coordinator (HIV/AIDS) – One PositionLevel : SC-9Duration of Assignment : 12 months with possibility of extensionDuty Station : Based in Yangon with frequent field visits. At least more than 50% of the timeshould be spent in the field.
Advanced university degree in Social Sciences/Public Health/PublicAdministration/Development Studies. A minimum of 8 years working experience in HIV/AIDprevention, care and support. Previous experience with the International Organizations/United Nationswill be a strong asset. Experience of working with vulnerable groups and people living with HIV and AIDSis highly desirable. He/she will: have sound understanding of HIV/AIDS as development issue; ability towork independently and also as a team player; demonstrated strong leadership, supervisory,coordinating and organizational skills; proven ability to plan and organize work productively in teamenvironment; excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills including ability to conveycomplex concepts to different stakeholders in a clear and concise style; demonstrated ability to workin a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment and to maintain effective work relations with people ofdifferent national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and respect for diversity; ability to establishcongenial relationship with other UN agencies, government counterparts, NGOs and communitiesunder different settings is essential; ability to recognize and respond appropriately to the ideas,interests and concerns of others; build trust and engenders morale by displaying open, transparentand credible behavior; ensure others’ understanding of, involvement in, adaptation to changeprocesses; set clear performance goals and standards; manage multiple activities concurrently, workunder pressure, and ability to focus on a variety of tasks within a deadline driven environment;working knowledge of computers including MS Office package is essential; excellent written and oralcommunication skills in English and Myanmar.

Title : Development Facilitators – HIV/AIDS (Three positions)Level : SC-6Duration of Assignment : 12 months with possibility of extensionDuty Station : Myintkyina, Magway and Hpa-an
Bachelor’s degree (public health, social sciences and other relevant subject) with 3years work experience in community health and development programmes; excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills; good understanding of HIV and development issues; excellent written and oralcommunication skills in English and Myanmar; experience of working with vulnerable groups and peopleliving with HIV and AIDS is highly desirable.

Title : Project Assistant (HIV and Micro Finance) – (One position)Level : SC-5Duration of Assignment : 12 months with possibility of extensionDuty Station : Yangon with travel to project sites
