As we walk with the Lord in our journey of
faith there are times when we must say farewell. John
All too soon the time for me to leave First Church
has come. Last June when I left to do my
supervised ministry at Brighton UCC, the plan was
to return to First Church at its completion.

I have learned that if one wants to see the


Lord laugh tell him your plans. It is sometimes

difficult to follow the path set before us, but that is DEADLINE IS
what I must do. As time passed at Brighton it 3 PM
became apparent that Lorrie and I should transfer
membership. The time at First Church was one FEBRUARY
that created friends and provided learning. I hope 18th
that my being apart of your congregation was as
full of joy and learning for you as it was for me.
