STEP 2
Begin Sewing1. Starting with Panel A, pin the rst twopieces

right sides together - seediagram a. Feed them under thepresser foot aligning the edges with theside of the foot.
NOTE: The distance fromwhere the needle hits the fabric to the edgeof the presser foot is 1/4” on most sewingmachines
. Sew from top edge to bottom edge being careful not totug or pull on the fabrics. There is no need to backstitch whenpiecing by machine - seediagram b.2. Take the 3rd piece

Cut Out The Pattern Pieces as shown in the Fabric Chart on page 1.

*Tip
: Pressing is dierent than ironing. When pressing, lift up the iron and set it down again in a new area. Pressing is preferred to prevent distortion.
3. Now press the seams. To press, use iron on cotton setting. Lay the sewn strip on the ironingboard with wrong side up. Press seam allowances toward the darkestfabric. Turn fabric strip over and press seams making sure there areno creases. Set Panel A aside.4. Proceed with Panel B, sewing and pressing

6. Using Section One diagram as a reference, sew and press Panel B andPanel C together.7. Now attach the sewn Panel B & C to Panel D. Press.8. Finally, attach Panel A and Section One is complete.9. Complete Section Two using the same process as Section One.
*Tip
: This quilt is designed to be pieced together in straight lines. Just follow the quilt layout on page 2.
10. Pin Section One and Section Two right sides together tocomplete the rst row. Press.11. Continue sewing the sections, then sewing them together tocomplete the rows.12. Sew the four rows together . Press.13. Lay the quilt at and trim any uneven edges.
STEP 3
Quilt Back 1. Trim o the selvage and cut the fabric length in half.2. Pin the right sides together along the long edge matching up thepattern in the fabric if desired.NOTE: It is necessary for the quilt backing and batting to be largerthan the top to allow for shrinkage during quilting.STEP 4Quilt Assembly1. Place the quilt back on a large at surface with the wrong side up.Smooth out the wrinkles.2. Place the batting on top of the qult back and smooth it out.3. Center the quilt top on top of the batting and the back creatinga “sandwich”. Smooth out the wrinkles.
