1 am pleased to inform you that General Chauncey M. Hooper Towers has been
conditionally awarded $5,000 from my Borough Needs Program for the Harlem Seniors
Computer Access program pending completion of a prequalification review by the
Mayor's Office of Contract Services. The award for Fiscal Year 2010 (July 1, 2009 to
June 30, 2010) will be contracted through the Department for the Aging, which has been
notified of this award.
‘The first step you need to take is to contact Hassan Adelbaky at the Department for the
Aging to begin the contracting process to access this award. He may be reached at 212-

My office received hundreds of applications from community-based groups doing
superior work throughout Manhattan. Your award should be seen as acknowledgement
of the critical role you play in providing much needed services to the residents of
Manhattan.
