to all who come andcelebrate God’s abundance in our lives and to givethanks on Thanksgiving Day.“How Can I Help?” A great way to help is to sign
up to be with us to set-up and serve Thanksgiving
Dinner to “our guests”. Of course, that isn’tpossible for some. Many of us travel to be withrelatives for Thanksgiving, or will be hosting theholiday dinner at home. There are many other ways to help make this a great success.Because we’ll be depending on having ALL FOODDONATED for the meal, parishioners can signup in advance and commit to providing fooditems listed on the
THANKSGIVING MENUNEEDS
charts posted in the parish hall. Pies and
frozen and canned food donations (i.e. vegetables, cranberry sauce, etc) can be dropped o early in
the week or brought by early on Thanksgiving morning, in time to have the necessary preparations made.Cooked turkeys, for instance, needto be dropped
o no earlier
than Wednesday afternoon and before10 a.m. on Thursday.
Won’t you open your heart and  help make thisThanksgiving  a special timeof sharing and celebration?

SearchCommitteeUpdate
October included learning sessionsfor the committee to prepare forinterviewing candidates. Namesof candidates screened and relayedto the committee are expected inNovember. There are several levelsof interviewing to be conducted withthe list of potentials diminishing ateach phase. These include initialphone conversations, videos of thecandidates preaching, visits here by candidates and “road trips” by small groups of committee members tothe candidates parishes. A small set
of nalists will be presented to theVestry for the nal selection of who
to call. At a meeting of the Senior Warden, the Search Committee chair, The Rev. Erik Larsen Cannonof Transition Ministry and JackSpaeth Cannon for Finance andStewardship, the wide range of potential directions forward forour church were discussed in lightof the tight budget and the lack of any unrestricted endowment. It was agreed that calling a part timeRector was not in the best long term interests of the Parish. The
Diocese rearmed that Fr. Tony
would not be transitioned to a Priestin Charge, nor would the search bedelayed. There was agreement thatthe Search Committee should moveforward towards calling the next fulltime Rector, as quickly and diligently as possible. The committee will be doing exactly that through the Advent andChristmas Seasons.
