As you all may aware that Burma Constitutional Conference was held in
London, UK on 19/20 December 2009 and we had adopted the working
strategy resolution unanimously. I am very glad to learn as well that 14th
FBE Conference adopted said resolution collectively was proofing
that we all are on the common ground working together to
extinguish military dictatorship system in Burma.

Please feel free to use Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) websites'

contents, you tube videos, sound files, photos and any other related
materials for the democratisation of Burma. You can download the you
tube videos onto the DVDs and CDs and send them to inside Burma and
it would be highly effective so as to educate and inform people inside
Burma of how sham is the junta's planned 2010 election and 2008
constitution.

As you all know that junta's planned 2010 election is drawing nearer
and clock is ticking. We all have to be decisive in doing things
especially in this critical time 2010. We all also agree that we have to
share the job and labour between us so as to implement the vast
workloads we have to realise within the period of time we have.

To meet that ends, Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) is pleased to

announce that we are launching the "YES WE CAN" Campaign in
order to override junta’s sham 2008 constitution and planned sham
2010 election. Relating to that Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) is now
calling for governments around the world to call for UNSC to declare
unilaterally adopted junta's sham 2008 constitution "NULL & VOID".
Even though, we are aware that our journey ahead, calling for UNSC
action, is steep but we will take all the steps to get there and we are
determined to do that. We are already working on it and we will update
you for more information and progress of UNSC Campaign. All the
cooperation and collaboration would be highly appreciated and we value
your support.
You can see more information and campaign posters at the following

We would be very grateful if you could promote this campaign locally as

well as internationally so that world leaders will be aware of the true
voices of Burmese people and hoping that they would turn their words
into action. But we must push them consistently harder and harder
and eventually they must act. We would like to take this golden
opportunity to reaffirm our position that we will work until democracy
restored in Burma.

We would like to express our sincere heartfelt thanks to everyone for

your unwavering support. We would like to invite all the people,
individuals or groups to work with us and we would like
to welcome your action taken practically for the justice realities in
Burma.

May I please conclude the letter by saying let's work together and we
can do it since what we believe is what we achieve.

Thank you very much.

Yours faithfully,

Myo Thein

Change junta’s sham 2008 constitution: This is the sham constitution
drawn unilaterally by junta’s handpicked delegation -- which we must
CHANGE. This is the sham constitution adopted unilaterally in rigged
referendum – which we must CHANGE. This is the sham constitution
designed to legitimise military rule in Burma -- which we must
CHANGE.
Aung San Suu Kyi and her party the National League for Democracy
(NLD), the unanimous victors of the 1990 election, clearly stated their
position in “Shwe-Gone-Daing” declaration that need to place in order to
have true national reconciliation, i.e. to

1. Release all the political prisoners

2. Review 2008 Constitution
3. Allow to reopen NLD and ethnic nationalities offices
4. Recognise 1990 election result
5. Take place political dialogue
Boycott junta’s planned sham 2010 election NOW: Boycott junta’s
planned sham 2010 election NOW because it is designed to nullify 1990
election result. Boycott junta’s planned sham 2010 election NOW
because election will be held in accord with 2008 sham constitution.
Boycott junta’s planned sham 2010 election NOW because junta is
setting up everything to win its own proxy party.
