Metro Orange Line
The Metro Orange Line
is a bus-only transitway
running east and west
across the San Fernando
Valley between North
Hollywood and Warner
Center. Vehicles on this
line are painted silver
and called Metro
01 Liners;
they stop at 13 stations,
operating very much 01like
Metro Rail trains. Many
bus connections are
available at each station.

Note: Metro Rail and the Metro
Orange Line operate on the honor
system. There are no conductors
to collect tickets or gates to pass
through. But Los Angeles Sheri=’s
Department fare inspectors randomly
check to see that passengers have
valid tickets or passes. You may
never be checked; but if you are and
you don’t have a valid ticket, the fare
inspector may issue a citation and
you may be fined.
Other Carriers
Many local cities
operate additional
bus services in their
