Smoking Kills - and something is just permanently killed off inside your body------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smoking kills 5 million people each year, this is a widely-documented fact we're sofamiliar in, so much so I'm not going to explain much into this stats, but insteadtelling you what permanent damages will be done the moment you puff a cigarette.Let's first focus on the head; in contrary to some reports, smoking doesn't really killbrain cells directly. Your brain cells are pretty tough and they won't simply die likethat. However smoking depletes oxygen supply to the brain, the main nutrientsrequired by the cells. This cause the brain cells to die in long run if the habit is notceased on time. Your brain may have trillion of cells, but unlike others these cellsdon't grow back, hence the loss is permanent.Moving on next to the nose, the cigarette ingredients caused irreversible damage tothe lining of the nose. Your nose cillary function (the micro hair structures whichclean the nose) is often permanently destroyed and even quitting smoking can't getit back to normal. Your nose will then slowly lost the ability to cleanse itself andbecomes more susceptible to allergens. In the mouth smoking showers teeth with tar deposition. These layers of sticky tarfirmly hold together plaque and everyday food remains which even tooth-brushingfails to clean (only professional dental cleaning could do so) This provide an optimalenvironment for bacteria to grow, where eventually they will be strong enough todestroy your gum. A receded gum means nutrients will be prevented from reachingthe tissues around the teeth. These teeth loose, fall out and have to be extracted.Adult teeth loss is permanent.Smoke from cigarette irritates and dries the tissues of the throat, particularly thevocal cords. This trigger inflammation and thickening of the vocal cords, making itunable to vibrate and function properly. Say goodbye to a sweet and clear voice, andif you don't quit smoking, your vocal cords will be out shape permanently with long-term exposure to swelling and dryness. Your voice will turn raspy and there is nocompletely back-to-normal heals for that even with surgery.Your lungs, the most well-known victim of smoking, bear the brunt of cigaretteattacks. Each cigarette kills some of the air sacs (known as alveoli) in your lungs. These air sacs are where the oxygen that you breathe in is transferred into theblood. Alveoli don't grow back, so that part of your lungs is permanently destroyedtoo. While the above may not seem pretty serious to some, smoking can cause acatastrophic damage which is permanent and deadly; genetic damages. How is thatpossible? Look, when we take medicine or vaccine, parts of our genes change tomake us more immune against a particular virus or bacteria. Do you seriously thinkcigarette’s over 3,000 chemicals make no single genetic change to the genes in ourcells? Sadly, they do, and worse of all they mutate some cells in the kidney, pancreas, stomach, throat and colon into cancerous type. This will pose seriousproblems which only grow worse with aging. Now with some damages already done, is it too late to quit smoking? The mostcommon misconception is that if you have been smoking a long time, you don't get
