Description

This is New York City, 1947, an owned city. A rich young man lies dead in an acid bath with only his sister and Detective Hale to bring justice to bear. But the body count rises from a killer with lethal eyes and a bloodlust that marks even the callous rackets of the city. It all starts to fit together, too much for a simple dick’s sense of coincidence, and the truth of it all will change the face of science & truth in an age of hatchetmen and gunsils, provided he doesn’t catch a bullet from the Racket’s shadowy Architect or his green-eyed slaughterer.
