Easter Morn On Mount Tamalpais

There used to be sunrise ceremonies on Mount Tamalpais. An crucifix stood there until... the new political correctness tore it down.

Ah indeed:) i love that hike and you're so right, the view is stunning at the summit. And Stinson Beach holds so many lovely memories for me. I hope you returned the favor and the dog now knows whom not to bite:)

I remember hiking up and over Mt Tamulpius on the Dypsea trail from Muir Woods to Stinson Beach many years ago. From the top the view of the entire bay area was fantastic as well as the view down the coast to San Gregorio State Park (29 Miles south). Bad thing was after going through the barbed wire fence to get into the open field at the top, a dog with other people going to Muir Woods, ran back to me and tried to bite me on the ass. Ah, the pleasures in life. Tom McGoldrick
