Please do not confuse with Syed Ali Gohar Shah or Baba Ali Gohar Shah, a renowned Muslim Sufi of 18th Century, who is a Sadat Bukhari and lived in Srinagar in Kashmir.

Riaz Ahmad Gohar Shah (or Shahi) died 2001, was the leader of Anjuman Sarfroshan-e-Islam.

Muslim scholars have declared him and his group to be misguided, an apostate and out of the fold of Islam, as he has blasphemed.

Being disciples and followers of Syedna Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi, we have never tried to fully understand the personality of our Spiritual Guide. His Holiness Gohar Shahi IS infact the greatest personality of all ages. His Holiness is still living here in United States but I can't understand why people try to misguide other common people about His Holiness who is the IMAM MEHDI Al Muntazar. Well my words might not make any difference about what people think about His Holiness but the time will prove itself. If anyone is spiritually stronger enough (by inner souls), he should not have any issue while contacting His Holiness. (The only thing is to have strong IMAAN and YAQEEN on Murshid). May Allah give everyone the vision to be a true follower of His Holiness Gohar Shahi.

Assalam-o-Alaikum Dear Brother,

You must have a misunderstanding or misconception about His Holiness Sayyedna Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi.

His Holiness have always preached Divine Love of Allah without any discrimination of caste, creed, nation or religion. That's the reason the people from All Faith accepted his teachings and invited him to their places of worships. His Holiness visited many Mosques, Temples to bless people.

The message and teaching of His Holiness Sayyedna Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi are based on Love of Allah and Muhammad (PBUH).

I would appreciate, if you kindly discuss the matter with me either by email or by comments here in order to remove such misunderstandings and promote unity and Ummah.
