Oh and I forgot to say thanks for the manual here. It's really a lot of help, and B&D don't seem to keep manuals for "legacy" products on their support site.

If I was finding black grease in the bottom of my bread dough, I'd throw out my breadmaker and go back to the recycling depot and get another one for $2 (which is what I paid for the one I've got now that has so far made probably a couple of hundred loaves of bread!).

why do you bother to have a section that shows peoples questions,but you dont show any answers to these questions.i would think after a year you would be able to come up with answers.i have the same issue as (Adeline Wood-Bleackley)who wrote she was getting streaks of what looks like grey black grease in the dough.i would really like a answer to this .thank you for your timely answer. goberle@shaw.ca

I have a breadmaker b2300... kneading blades are difficult to get out. So difficult that I overlooked one, and it was discarded with a part loaf. How can I get another blade? Carol Matthews
